I always loved photography. One of the happiest days in my life was the day I bought my first camera. It became my friend.
Anywhere I go, I try to capture real, honest and beautiful moments that are often hidden in most common places around us.
As a photographer, I search for a story. As a psychologist, I am always interested in people, their stories and emotions.
I travelled, lived and taught in many places around the Globe.
I learned that one does not need to know every language to learn about people.
I was born in Russia, the former Soviet Union, and came to the United States as a political refugee. I was young and life presented many lessons through which I learned a lot about myself and people.
Having a Law degree from Russia, gave me no opportunities without knowing the language.
So, I studies very hard, I learned my new language, and acquired my very new profession. I became a Doctor of Psychology. I taught at colleges and Universities, and treated patients in the United States and in many countries around the world.
Now, Boise Idaho is my home. I share my life with my husband, Gabriel, who is my best friend and who supports me in all my creative endeavors.
I am an exhibiting member of the Treasure Valley Artist Alliance and have been selected to present my photography at a number of exhibitions in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, Idaho.
My photography was awarded the First Place at the Juried Art Exhibition at CROSSROADS CARNEGIE ART CENTER, INC,
Oregon.
It is my pleasure and the privilege to tell you many stories through my photography.
